Hi

Can you confirm if the names of newly qualified Fellows from September 09 Exam will be published on 15-Jan-10 version of The Irish Times as well?

So is the list of newly qualified fellows from the September 2009 exam diet published in The Times on the 15th Jan 2010? This seems to be the implication of the previous post.

Yes, you are correct. This is stated in the Profession's website.

Actually, I wanted to know from the moderator if the same gets published in other regional papers of The Times like The Irish Times in ROI on the same day?

I am sorry but the list is only published in the (London) Times. However, if you would like to make a case for the list being published in other papers, you could bring this to the Student Consultative Forum, either by contacting Trevor Watkins, Secretary to the Forum, (trevor.watkins@actuaries.org.uk) or the representative for the Society of Actuaries in Ireland, Sinead Carty (sinead.carty@hibernian.ie)

Can you confirm that the results are actually in today's Times? I've asked a non-actuarial friend in London to buy me a copy but he has not seen the list of names yet. Maybe he scanned it too quickly.

The Times published the results on Thursday 14th January instead of Friday 15th as booked. They have agreed to publish them again on Friday 22nd - http://www.actuaries.org.uk/media_centre/news_stories/2010/january/new_qualifiers
